Accor Beijing « Chamber Of Ten Thousand Flowers

The riding team is made up of eight members, pictured below. Write-ups of each member were translated and edited by 啦应华，a student of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

陈轲 Chen Ke [captain]

Chen Ke enrolled in the Faculty of Electricity in 2002. He has organised and taken part in 6 expeditions while at HZUST, many exceeding 1,000 kilometres in distance, and has notched up a total of 20,000 kilometres.

戴惟 Dai Wei [deputy captain]

Graduated from HZUST in 2006 and now works in Hunan’s power industry.

莫汉艺 Mo Hanyi

阳健颖 Yang Jianying

He is the expedition’s mechanical expert. He enrolled in 2005 in the Faculty of Design, Mechanics and Automation and has been an active participant in several long expeditions.

杨杰 Yang Jie

Yang Jie is 23 years old [or was when the trip started], was born in Wuhan and enrolled in the Faculty of Computer Technology and Science. His favourite sports are ping-pong, tennis and cycling. In 2003 he entered the college students cycling championship as a representative of HZUST, in Hubei province, and won 1st prize.

杨伟志 Yang Weizhi

He enrolled at HZUST in 2004 as a student of architecture.

李枭雅 Li Xiaoya

Responsible for medical matters on the journey. She enrolled at HZUST in 2006 [major not known] and enjoys travelling and has taken part in several cycling expeditions.

刘佳 Liu Jia

Enrolled at HZUST in 2003, graduated last year and now works in Wuhan. His interests are many and varied, and include photography, football and cycling. He speaks English and French.

In addition there is another group of eight who are the supporting team and look after various planning and administrative functions, there is even a PR exec amongst them!! They are non-travellers and based in China.
